Last year, I had the incredible privilege of partnering with Jusoor, a remarkable organization dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs, for a four-city roadshow across Jordan and Lebanon. Witnessing the entrepreneurial spirit ignite in Amman, Irbid, Tripoli, and finally, Beirut, was truly inspiring.
The two-day training sessions in each city focused on the fundamentals; what entrepreneurship is all about, crafting a solid business model, and mastering the art of the pitch. The participants in each location were brimming with enthusiasm, eager to learn and refine their entrepreneurial skillset.
A Journey Through Four Cities
The roadshow kicked off in the vibrant capital of Jordan, Amman. The energy was contagious, and the participants actively engaged in discussions and exercises. Next, we journeyed north to Irbid, where the spirit of innovation was equally palpable.
Crossing the border into Lebanon, we arrived in the historic city of Tripoli. There, a new flavor of entrepreneurial passion emerged. Finally, Beirut, our fourth and final stop, pulsated with an energy unlike any other. The participants were a dynamic mix of individuals, each brimming with unique ideas and a relentless drive to succeed.
Beirut: Where the Energy Exploded
While the participants in each city brought a fantastic energy, Beirut was undeniably special. Perhaps it was the city’s vibrant atmosphere, or maybe it was the incredible support from Ziena, the program manager. Ziena’s leadership provided the perfect environment for me to delve fully into the training and give my all to the participants.
Witnessing their dedication and seeing their ideas take shape was incredibly rewarding. The culmination of each training was a group photo, but in Beirut, it took an unexpected turn. To my utter surprise, the participants hoisted me above their shoulders for the photo! It was a hilarious and heartwarming moment, perfectly capturing the spirit of camaraderie and joy that defined the entire roadshow.
Memories to Last a Lifetime
This journey with Jusoor and the participants across four cities will remain etched in my memory. The entrepreneurial spirit I encountered, the collaborative learning environment, and the unexpected camaraderie created an experience that was both inspiring and unforgettable.
