It was a great pleasure to get invited to speak at the third edition of the Civic Education Conference (CEC) 2018 which was held in Casablanca, Morocco between the 03-07 December by the NACE team.
I was invited to talk about challenges & opportunities that social entrepreneurship offers to civic education and sharing my experience in applying storytelling as a method that can unleash creativity, critical thinking & social skills in youth living in rural and remote areas.
The conference gathered 200 participants from the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and other regions.
It was also a great opportunity to make new friends among which the great conference facilitator and NACE Advisory Board, Ahmed Naguib from Egypt and Ziad Haddara from Lebanon; the conference also was a chance to meet friends like the beautiful hard working Ghazoua Ltaief from Tunisia.
I was also blessed to meet the one and only, the Tunisian philosopher and anthropologist, Youssef Seddik, such a humble and wonderful personality.
